William Frank Bannister Sr., a 57-year-old Black male, was found shot to death on October 26, 2016, inside an apartment in the Malibu Bay complex in West Palm Beach, Florida. The West Palm Beach Police Department responded to the scene and discovered Bannister's body in the afternoon. The location of the incident was the 700 block of Malibu Bay Drive, a residential area known for its quiet environment.
