Makeva Harold Jenkins, a 33-year-old African American woman, was tragically murdered on June 29, 2017, in her Lake Worth, Florida home. Makeva, a mother of three and a successful entrepreneur, was shot in the head while she slept. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning, and the police received frantic 911 calls from her brother, Marquavious “Quay” Greer, who found her fighting for her life.
