Karen Marie Lyle, a 40-year-old woman from Fort Lauderdale, FL, tragically lost her life on February 13, 2017. Karen, who was a newlywed, was found dead alongside her 15-year-old daughter, Shanice Smith, in their home. The cause of death was determined to be gunshot wounds. Karen was discovered with a gunshot wound to her forehead, while her daughter had a gunshot wound to her left cheek. Both bodies were covered with blankets when found by the police.
