Thadius Edward Watson, a 29-year-old African American male, was found dead on March 7, 2017, in Pensacola, Florida. His body was discovered along the edge of Klondike Road, south of Wilde Lake Boulevard, near the Klondike Kennels. Watson had been shot multiple times, and authorities quickly determined that his death was a homicide. days following the discovery of Watson's body, the ECSO sought individuals for questioning in connection with the murder. The investigation led to the arrest of 35-year-old Dino Ray Reaves, who was identified as the primary suspect in the case. Reaves, a documented local gang member with a history of multiple arrests in different states, was charged with homicide. He was booked into the Escambia County Jail without bond. The ECSO stated that they did not expect to make additional arrests in connection with Watson's murder.
