Michael Jamar Bethel, a 28-year-old Black male, was tragically found shot and killed in Tampa, Florida, on August 3, 2017. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning, just before 2:40 a.m., when the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office received a Shot Spotter activation indicating three rounds fired near the 1500 block of 143rd Avenue East.
