Maurice Antuan Garrett, aged 29, was killed on November 20, 2015, in Tampa, Florida. The incident occurred when Maurice crashed his pickup truck into a tree at the intersection of East Ellicott Street and North 40th Street. Upon further examination while he was being transported to Tampa General Hospital, it was revealed that he had been shot. Maurice succumbed to his injuries at the hospital, and his death was subsequently ruled a homicide.
