Stephanie Gonzalez, a 39-year-old woman from Weirsdale, FL, was found dead on August 26, 2017, alongside 44-year-old Jeffery Durden. Both victims were discovered in a maroon SUV parked at the rear of a Dollar General store on SE Highway 42. The Marion County Sheriff's Office confirmed that both Stephanie Gonzalez and Jeffery Durden had suffered gunshot wounds, and their deaths were ruled as homicides.
