Romario Keith Edwards, a 20-year-old resident of West Palm Beach, Florida, was tragically shot and killed on the evening of November 6, 2017. The incident occurred on the 700 block of 51st Street, where Edwards lived. According to reports, officers received a 911 call about shots fired around 7:51 p.m. Upon arrival, they found Edwards with gunshot wounds. Despite attempts to revive him through CPR, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Edwards had just brought his one-year-old daughter inside his home before stepping out, at which point the shooting occurred. His daughter was unharmed in the incident.
Edwards was known for his dedication to his daughter, working long hours to provide for her. He was also a former soccer player for the Palm Beach Lakes Boys Soccer Team, where he was recognized as one of the best defenders.
