Juhi Paramar, a 25-year-old woman from Sanford, FL, tragically lost her life on January 17, 2018, in what authorities described as a possible attempted murder-suicide. The incident occurred at a residence on Orange Avenue near East 25th Street. Juhi Paramar, who was of Indian descent, was found alongside Elisha Gilmore, a 27-year-old man, both suffering from gunshot wounds to the head. The Sanford Police Department received a 911 call from Gilmore, who reported that he and Paramar had been shot.
