Michael William Thurman Jr., a 40-year-old resident of Jacksonville, Florida, tragically lost his life on February 4, 2018. The incident occurred late Sunday night in the 2800 block of West Sixth Street. According to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, officers responded to reports of a shooting around 10:20 p.m. Upon arrival, they found Thurman suffering from a gunshot wound. He was immediately transported to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
