Michael D. Mathis, a 21-year-old African American male, was tragically killed in a drive-by shooting on June 16, 2018, in Miami Gardens, FL. The incident occurred around 10:30 a.m. near Northwest 191st Street and 36th Avenue. Mathis was shot multiple times and was later pronounced dead at Ryder Trauma Center.
