Elias Mauricio Martinez, a 40-year-old Hispanic male, was tragically shot and killed on October 21, 2018, in Jacksonville, Florida. The incident occurred early in the morning at the Avesta Mandarin apartment complex on Hartley Road. Residents reported hearing gunfire around 3:20 a.m., prompting several calls to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office (JSO).
