Michael Quirello, a 64-year-old white male, was tragically killed on December 13, 2018, in Hernando, Florida. The incident occurred in the parking lot of the Quality Inn located at 350 E Norvell Bryant Highway. Quirello was reportedly changing a tire on his car when he was shot and killed by 70-year-old Salvatore Tirone, who was motivated by jealousy. Tirone, a resident of Broward County, drove from Miami to Citrus County with the intent to kill Quirello, who was dating Tirone's ex-wife.
