Gwendolyn Kay "Gwen" Smith, aged 66, passed away on May 1, 2019, in Jacksonville, Florida. Gwen was a lifelong resident of Jacksonville and was well-loved by her community. She graduated from Englewood High School and worked as a Data Entry Clerk at Southside Middle School. Gwen was known for her dedication to her family and her work, and she was deeply cherished by her husband of 47 years, John "Johnny" Thombleson, as well as her siblings and numerous friends.
