Lanorris Emanuel Gilmore, a 28-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on July 27, 2019, in Hawthorne, Florida. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning outside a home on Thistle Trail. Lanorris was shot multiple times, and his younger brother, Darius Dante Gilmore, aged 20, sustained injuries to both legs during the same incident. The Putnam County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene and initiated an investigation into the double shooting.
