Gilbert Mayson, a 14-year-old boy from Hawthorne, FL, tragically died on January 4, 2021. The incident occurred at 16331 SE County Road 2082 in Hawthorne, where Alachua County sheriff's deputies responded to a call regarding a gunshot victim.
