Phyllis Bryant, aged 88, was found dead on July 30, 2019, in her home in Silver Springs, Florida. The tragic incident was part of an apparent murder-suicide involving her husband, Donald Bryant, aged 84. According to the Marion County Sheriff's Office, Donald Bryant shot Phyllis Bryant in the head before turning the gun on himself. The couple was discovered by a visiting home health care provider who immediately contacted law enforcement upon finding the bodies.
