Daniel Lee Upton, a 30-year-old resident of Lakeland, Florida, tragically lost his life on August 19, 2019, in Port Saint Joe, Florida. The incident occurred in the Gulf Aire Subdivision on St. Joe Beach, where Upton was shot by Stephen Michael Smith, a 25-year-old from LaGrange, Georgia.
