On November 14, 2015, 32-year-old Tavon Donte Allen was fatally shot on the 1 North Bentalou Street in Baltimore, Maryland. He was found at the scene of the incident, suffering from gunshot wounds. The shooting was one of many that contributed to Baltimore's growing homicide toll during a particularly violent year for the city.
