Tar'niya Carter, a 16-year-old student at Spectrum Academy in Stuart, Florida, tragically lost her life after being shot on December 3, 2019, in Fort Pierce. The incident occurred around 6 p.m. in the 3100 block of Avenue J, where police responded to reports of shooting activity. Carter and a 15-year-old boy were both injured in the shooting.
