On March 9, 2020, Tampa, Florida, experienced a tragic series of events resulting in multiple fatalities due to gun violence. One of the incidents occurred at a residence on the 8500 block of North Orleans Avenue. Property records indicate that the homeowner, Sheryl Laxson, claimed a homestead exemption on this property.
