Dexter Rentz Jr., an 18-year-old high school football star from Ocoee High School in Orlando, Florida, tragically lost his life on April 25, 2020. Rentz was a promising athlete who had recently committed to playing football for the University of Louisville on a full scholarship. His death occurred during a drive-by shooting outside his grandfather's residence on Else Street. Rentz was among four individuals shot in the incident, but he was the only fatality.
