Alexander Antonio Nowell, a 29-year-old resident of Avon Park, Florida, tragically lost his life on May 9, 2020. The incident occurred at a bar called "The Joint" located at 941 S. Delaney Ave. in Avon Park. On that fateful night, an altercation broke out, leading to a shooting that claimed Nowell's life. The confrontation, which stemmed from an earlier argument, escalated quickly, resulting in gunfire that not only killed Nowell but also wounded two other individuals present at the scene.
