Jason Hernandez, a 43-year-old Hispanic male, tragically lost his life on March 26, 2021, in Avon Park, Florida. The incident occurred on a basketball court located off Fred Conner Street. According to the Highlands County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to multiple 911 calls reporting a shooting at the location around 6:15 p.m. Upon arrival, they found Jason Hernandez lying on the ground with gunshot wounds.
