Arya Gray, a 15-year-old girl from Miami, FL, tragically lost her life on May 12, 2020. Arya, who was of African American descent, was fatally shot in the head while at an apartment rented by Thalys Oliveira, a 17-year-old friend. The incident occurred during a gathering with friends, where Oliveira pointed a gun at Arya and pulled the trigger, claiming he did not know the gun was loaded.
