The incident occurred in the front yard of her daughter's home on Amos Avenue, where she was fatally shot during a violent altercation involving multiple individuals. The family had planned to spend Christmas Eve making gingerbread houses, but the evening took a devastating turn when a group of people, allegedly associated with a local gang, opened fire on the family.
