Roxana Marisol Sanchez, a 36-year-old mother from Orlando, Florida, tragically lost her life on May 8, 2021. The incident occurred the night before Mother's Day, when Sanchez was returning home after a day of shopping and dining with a friend. As she arrived at her driveway, two teenagers attempted to carjack her vehicle. During the confrontation, one of the suspects, Ja'Quarius McCray, who was 17 at the time, shot Sanchez. Despite being rushed to the hospital, she succumbed to her injuries.
