Cornecia Quanshay Smikle, a 25-year-old African American woman from Tampa, Florida, tragically lost her life on June 20, 2021, during a Father's Day celebration at Royal Park in Wildwood, FL. The event, which was meant to be a joyous occasion, turned into a scene of chaos and violence when gunfire erupted, resulting in multiple injuries and the death of Cornecia.
