DeMario Quintell Thomas, a 28-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on June 27, 2021, in Saint Petersburg, Florida. The incident occurred shortly after 11:30 p.m. near 1324 13th Avenue South. DeMario was with a group of people outside when someone fired shots from behind a nearby house. DeMario was critically injured and succumbed to his injuries, while another victim, a 25-year-old woman, sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
