Marvin A. Saunders II, a 36-year-old Black man, spent his last evening in Baltimore’s Edmondson Village area on April 11, 2016, before gunfire tore through the night along Harlem Avenue. Police were called out around 9 p.m., and when officers reached the scene near Mount Holly Street, they found him outside, struck multiple times. There was no time to slow the bleeding, no second chance—he was pronounced dead there on the street.
