Demetrius Harris, a 27-year-old Black male, was tragically killed on July 25, 2021, in Miami, Florida. The incident occurred around 5:30 p.m. in the 13800 block of Southwest 270th Street during a heated dispute between neighbors. According to reports, Harris was involved in an argument with a woman named Maxine McCord and her family members in the courtyard of their apartment complex.
