On August 23, 2021, Jamien Davis, a 21-year-old African American male, was tragically killed in Monticello, Florida. The incident occurred around 6 p.m. when the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office (JCSO) responded to reports of multiple gunshot victims in the East Clark Avenue area.
