On the evening of April 24, 2016, a burst of gunfire shattered the calm in the 1400 block of East Fayette Street in Baltimore, Maryland, claiming the life of 23-year-old Demetrius Little. A male resident of the city, Little was reportedly leaving an Exxon gas station convenience store at approximately 7:17 p.m. when he was suddenly confronted by two unidentified men.
