Shaun Farkus, a 43-year-old white male from Oxford, Florida, was fatally shot on July 30, 2022, at the Dam Pub in Lake Panasoffkee. The incident occurred early in the morning, with Sumter County sheriff’s deputies responding to the scene before 1 a.m. Upon arrival, they found Shaun Farkus deceased from an apparent gunshot wound. The shooting took place at the Hidden River Resort located at 4666 County Road 300.
