Maurice Jones, a 35-year-old father, tragically lost his life on October 23, 2022, in a shooting incident in northwest Orlando, Florida. The Orange County Sheriff's Office responded to a call around 4:39 a.m. on Perrine Drive, where they found Jones and a woman in her 30s who had also been shot. Jones was transported to a local hospital but succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival. The woman, who sustained non-life-threatening injuries, was also taken to the hospital for treatment.
