Gregory Denard Shaw, a 57-year-old African American man, was tragically shot and killed on November 7, 2022, in Opa-locka, Florida. Shaw was waiting in his car in the drive-through lane of a Burger King located at 13705 NW 27th Avenue when he was shot multiple times by an unidentified assailant. After being shot, Shaw attempted to drive away but crashed his vehicle into a nearby wall. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue confirmed his death at the scene.
