Edmund Emil Kemper Sr., aged 72, died on August 27, 1964, in North Fork, California. His death was a result of a tragic and brutal murder committed by his grandson, Edmund Kemper III. On that fateful day, Edmund Kemper III, who was only 15 years old at the time, shot his grandmother, Maude Matilda Kemper, multiple times before stabbing her to ensure she was dead.
