Vilho O. Ahola, a dedicated officer of the Petaluma Police Department, tragically succumbed to complications from a gunshot wound he sustained on November 7, 1969. On that fateful day, Officer Ahola was dispatched to a domestic disturbance at 818 I Street in Petaluma, California.
