Tony Linton Thornton, a 38-year-old Baltimore resident, was killed on August 5, 2016. The incident occurred during the early morning hours in Baltimore's Southern District, specifically on the 900 block of East Patapsco Avenue. Police officers responded to the sound of gunshots at approximately 3:19 a.m., where they discovered Thornton suffering from multiple life-threatening gunshot wounds.
