Mary Helen Hines-Dicken, aged 90, was found beaten in her home in Northwest Baltimore on August 10, 2016. The attack occurred during a home invasion, and she was discovered unresponsive by a concerned neighbor who had not seen her for some time. Hines-Dicken was transported to a nearby hospital, but she succumbed to her injuries. Her death was ruled a homicide by blunt force trauma following an autopsy conducted by the medical examiner.
