Wanda Jean Cummings Earl, aged 37, tragically lost her life on November 7, 1973, in Acampo, California. Her death was part of a horrific spree killing that shocked the local community and the nation. Wanda, along with her husband Richard Earl, 37, their son Ricky, 15, and several others, were brutally murdered by Douglas Gretzler and Willie Steelman. The spree killers targeted the Earl family and their neighbors, the Parkins, resulting in a total of nine victims that night.
