On November 7, 1973, 15-year-old white male Richard Allen Earl Jr. was among nine individuals tragically murdered in a mass killing in Victor, a community near Acampo, California. The victims included members of the Earl and Parkin families, as well as Mark Allen Lang. The perpetrators were Douglas Gretzler and Willie Steelman, who were involved in a multi-state killing spree during that period.
