Barbara Colby, a talented actress known for her roles in television series such as "The Mary Tyler Moore Show" and "Phyllis," met a tragic end on July 24, 1975, at the age of 36. Colby and her colleague, James Kiernan, were walking to their car after an acting class in Palms, Los Angeles, when they were suddenly attacked.
