Ali Ahmed Ibrahim, a 33-year-old Sudanese graduate student at UC Davis, tragically lost his life on April 26, 1977, in Sacramento, California. Ibrahim had recently completed his PhD and was known for his academic dedication and promising future. On that fateful day, he and his fellow Sudanese graduate student, Salaheldin Ahmed Hamid, were shot to death by an Iraqi student named Khalid Al-Amin.
