Marnette Comer, a 17-year-old girl from Los Angeles, California, tragically lost her life on June 30, 1980. Her death was part of a series of gruesome murders committed by the infamous "Sunset Strip Killers," Douglas Clark and Carol Bundy. Marnette's body was discovered in a ravine off Foothill Boulevard, near the freeway. She had been sexually assaulted and shot in the head, a fate shared by several other victims of the murderous duo.
