William Crandell, a man in his 60s, was tragically killed on November 12, 1983, in Los Angeles, California. His death was part of a series of murders that took place in the Skid Row area of downtown Los Angeles. The perpetrator, Norman Bernard, a transient from North Carolina, confessed to the murders of three indigents, including William Crandell.
