On the morning of August 31, 1984, a tragic and senseless act of violence claimed the life of eight-year-old Damon Bonner in Los Angeles, California. Damon was visiting his grandmother, Ebora Alexander, along with his cousin Damani Garner-Alexander, when their home was invaded by two gang members, Tiequon Cox and Horace Edwin Burns.
