In the cool of a September evening in Baltimore, a promising young life was abruptly cut short, leaving a family and a community enveloped in grief. Marcus Ricardo Edwards, a 21-year-old male sophomore at Morgan State University, was fatally stabbed on the night of Monday, September 19, 2016. The incident occurred near his apartment, about a mile from the university campus, at the intersection of Loch Raven Boulevard and Woodbourne Avenue.
