Florence McNamara, aged 57, tragically lost her life on January 5, 1985, in Santa Barbara, California. The incident occurred at the family's ranch in the Santa Ynez Mountains, just north of Santa Barbara. On that fateful evening, Florence, along with her husband Elger McNamara, her daughter Diane Trenner, and her 4-year-old granddaughter Kellin Trenner, were brutally murdered in what was described as the worst massacre in Santa Barbara County's history.
