Miyako Storch, aged 87, and her husband Bernd Storch, aged 82, were found dead in their home on Arbolado Road in Santa Barbara, California, on July 9, 2021. The Santa Barbara Police Department responded to the scene following reports of suspicious deaths. Upon investigation, it was determined that both individuals had died from self-inflicted gunshot wounds, leading authorities to conclude that the incident was a double suicide.
